Frequently Asked Questions:
How Do I Get Started?
Contact us by phone, email, or using our contact form on this website, to schedule an in-person meeting to discuss how the industry is changing and how that can benefit you, both as a seller and a buyer. We look forward to assisting you with your needs.
Are Real Estate Commissions Negotiable?
Absolutely! That is the most impactful aspect of the new practices. The negotiation of all commissions are in the open and controlled by current market conditions. Let us show you how the contracts have been changed, and continue to be amended, to ensure the "decoupling" of sellers' and buyers' commissions.
How does the buyer's agent get paid?
A buyer's agent brings value to THEIR client! The commission earned by the buyer's agent begins with a "Buyer's Representation Agreement". Though rarely utilized in the past, since the Milestone event of the Sitzer/Burnett judgment, both the National Association of Realtors and the California Association of Realtors are requiring all agents to have an agreement in place before working with a buyer. This is one of the many shifts leading toward a new way of conducting business.
Do you only work with Sellers?
No. All transactions include a seller and a buyer. This change in our industry will ultimately improve the quality of representation for all parties! We are so excited to be at the forefront at this exciting time!
